Though "answer songs" are popular these days, nobody has ever dared to tackle such an important song in the Japanese music history..

From artistic success like when RSP answered to Princess Princess, to commercial success like Thelma Aoyama's Soba ni iru ne, or a little too much opportunist projects like JUJU and Spontania, answer songs are flourishing quite well in 2008.

Masami Mitsuoka is about to answer to THE Trabryu's huge hit, Road, which single-CD released in 1993 was bought by no less than 2 million people. It is now the 24th best sold single of all time in Japan. Masami Mitsuoka's answer song is called Todokanai Omoi... ~Road Another Story~,and will be available by November 19. As you can see on the photo opposite, the 22-year-old young lady has cleverly changed her look for the event. Besides, Masami Mitsuoka, who is an author but not a composer, plans on releasing 3 new works, including this answer song, in 3 months. Indeed, the release on December 17 of last cross, the artist's fourth single and the opening theme of anime Katei Kyoushi Hitman REBORN!, has already been confirmed. Then logically, the singer's first album should be out in January.
