MAY from Sweet Vacation is stranded in Thailand!

The group's appearance in the MINAMI GROOVE 2008 festival which should have been held today was suddenly canceled because the singer May was unable to travel to Japan..

May, the singer of Sweet Vacation who is from Thai ancestry, was in Thailand when the clashes of recent days happened between the anti-government and Thai police and led to the occupation of Bangkok International Airport.

The group went to Bangkok for a business meeting, but they had to cancel everything because of the beginning of the clashes, and they had to go to the airport to fly back In Japan as soon as possible. Unfortunatly, the Immigration Service only accepted Daichi's leaving, (the other member of the duo), et May remained stranded in Thailand. The group's appearance in MINAMI GROOVE was consequently canceled, and their December 4th concert (notably alongside HALCALI) may well be canceled for the same reason as well.

The group expressed its apology through its official site, hoping for a favourable end to these events.
