Sachiko Suzuki (WINK) had to deny she had tried to commit suicide
An incredible story has shaken the Japanese media for the last 48 hours. Former pop idol Sachiko Suzuki from legendary duo WINK had to deny a piece of information which had spread all over the press and which stated she had tried to commit suicide....
It all began on Monday night, when Sachiko Suzuki, a notorious old maid, tried to fall asleep without success as usual. As usual, she ended up swallowing one or two sleeping pills to be finally able to sleep. Meanwhile her phone rang and she started to talk with a friend of hers whose speech must have been fascinating since she ended up falling asleep on the phone! Worried since she did not answer anymore, the friend in question called for an ambulance. Ambulancemen tumbled down and hammered on her door. Sachiko Suzuki was finally taken to the hospital where she spent the night on a drip, because doctors diagnosed an anemia.
But meanwhile, the rumour had time to grow, and the media who heard about it got hold of it, stating she had unsuccessfully tried to commit suicide with a medicine overdose. That is how after she left the hospital, bewildered Sachiko Suzuki had to hold a press conference to re-establish the truth and apologize for the media hype which had been caused by everything that had happened...
