Hikaru Utada to sing the Evangelion 2.0 theme song
Fans hoped for it but did not dare to believe it, yet it has now been confirmed: after singing the theme song for the movie Evangelion 1.0, Hikaru Utada will also sing the theme song of the sequel..
Amost two years ago, we learnt that Hikaru Utada had been chosen to sing the theme song for the first new Evangelion movie (there will be 4 movies). Entitled Beautiful World, the song had unanimous support and consequently gave complete satisfaction to Eva's producers.
The second issue of the magazine EVA EXTRA, out today in Japan, confirms that Hikaru Utada will sing the theme song of the movie Evangelion 2.0, which will be released on June 27th. No further information about the song was given, but since the movie will be released very soon, we will not wait a long time!
