Kuno Shinji to release his first major album

Often considered as a kind of "Japanese Paul McCartney", Shinji Kuno announced the release of his first major album, almost one year after he signed with the label Dreamusic..

Male singer Kuno Shinji has a style similar to the Beatles' and strongly influenced by Western pop-folk music. He already released two indies albums and a major mini-album and three singles. A fourth single entitled Hikari to kage is planned for a January 28 release. It will include an a-capella cover version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. (By the way, you can already listen to the full version of it on his Myspace). The song will also be used as the second ending song of the anime Casshern Sins.

Kuno Shinji who comes from the Nagoya area, is not only the writer and composer of his songs, but he also plays every instruments you can hear on them. Since he was very young, music has always been somehing very important to him: he listens to American music from the 60s and 70s, such as the Beach Boys, the Beatles (who he is often compared with), and Janis Joplin (he covered one of her songs on his previous single, Hikaru Mirai).

His first major album will be released on February 25th and will contain 13 tracks among which there are his four previous singles.
