Let’s talk about the new trio whose heart is torn between two archipelagos..

A surfer (AK), a boxer (Oki) and a model (Sophia), that is the line-up of a new hip-hop trio, Safarii. The band, recently signed by a major, explains that they would like to spread Hawaiian music in Japan. After their debut single called Namioto, released at the end of August, Safarii's second album will be out on November 26. Its name is Hero, and this time it benefits from a promotional support since it was used as a theme song for drama Celeb to Binbou Tarou (starring Aya Ueto). Though it is difficult to forecast a possible success, Safarii has the ability of taking part of today's music scene, as shows the warm acclamation they received in the Zepp Tôkyô on November 10 (see our live report).
